Meet Bethany

“Confidence is your birthright, sister!”

Hi! I’m Bethany.

Ten years ago, I was in a place of scary-low self-worth.  My marriage had been riddled with infidelity and other hard things that I won’t write about here and I emerged from my divorce with no sense of who I was anymore.

  • Confident Bethany was beat down, betrayed and worn out.

  • Fun Bethany had gotten lost in the early years of parenting.

  • Feminine Bethany was too scared to show herself.

I’m not going to pretend that boudoir photography was the only thing that pulled me out of that place, but it sure has played a huge role in reclaiming the confident, fun, feminine parts of myself that I had lost.

Here's one of the tricks of the trade. Most women don't love photos of themselves with their hands on the outside of their hips. But place those hands high and close and you've got yourself a winner!
Any lady I've photographed will tell ya this is the most challenging pose we shoot together. So worth it though, no?!? :)
